Well, if you had just been dragged through the courts by Heather Mills, you would want to get away from it all, wouldn't you?

The Mirror reports that Paul McCartney is enjoying a romantic holiday with US business woman Nancy Shevell.

They have been spotted on the Caribbean island resort of Jumby Bay off Antigua.

The Rosewood resort describes itself as "an inclusive, private-island paradise with pristine white sand beaches and the finest Caribbean amenities. The luxury resort is a refuge for genteel relaxation."

A suite with pool costs $1,600 per night at this time of year.

Not a holiday, but not sure it is work either. Is work REALLY work for celebs? Anyhow, Paris Hilton and Benji Madden were in Prague last night for the Good Charlotte concert, according to the Gossipgirls.

Paris Hilton, internet star and celebrity rich kid, is holidaying in South Africa with guitarist boyfriend, Benji Madden.

When asked by reporters what she thought of South Africa, Ms Hilton is alleged to have responded:

"I LOVE Africa in general, South Africa and West Africa. They are both great countries,"

Ye-es. Perhaps it is time Papa Hilton spent some cash on an emergency atlas for his celebutante daughter!

The prince is holidaying after his tour of Afghanistan and has been hanging out with Chelsy Davy at her apartment in Cape Town. Some pictures on East News.

Flight magazine has an interesting article on racing driver, Lewis Hamilton.

Lewis became "the face of Learjet” at last year’s Paris air show, which meant the racing wunderkind could say "au revoir, EasyJet" and "bonjour Learjet".

Hamilton uses his new transportation to "travel to test sessions, races and personal appearances in Europe from his new home in Geneva."

Owned by Bombardier, the Learjet has long been the transport of choice for a certain class of monied celebrity. Indeed, they used to be called the Jetset.

No prizes for guessing where! Obviously it's that time of year when royalty, posh people and Duncan James head for the delights of Klosters.

Celebrity posh bird Tara Palmer-Tomkinson and Duncan James, ex-Blue singer, have been spotted in Klosters, skiing, skating and canoodling, according to today's Daily Mirror.

You may remember from a previous celeb post that Ms Palmer-Tomkinson owns a chalet in Klosters, as well as having a holiday home built in Bali.

While he isn't *strictly* a celebrity, he is possibly the most famous person in the World and is also God's messenger on earth.

So, news just in that Pope Benedict XVI is to take a tour of Sydney's famous harbour on a three-storey cruise ship during his visit in July.

This will be the Holy Father's first trip Down Under as pontiff, and is part of World Youth Day, held in Sydney from July 15-20 2008.

According to Hello magazine, Sir Michael Caine and Sir Andrew Lloyd-Webber jetted to Spain last week to enjoy a double birthday celebration at exclusive hotel, La Residencia, Majorca.

The magazine goes on to say:

The two men – Michael is 75 and Andrew has just turned 60 – were joined by a host of pals to mark the milestones.

As well as their stunning wives Shakira and Madeleine, friends including Sir Tim Rice, Lord Melvyn Bragg and Michael Winner jetted across to the West End composer's favourite hotel, the exclusive La Residencia, for the fun.

Reports that the bash was to cost millions were laughed off by the Any Dream Will Do judge. "If I was spending £5 million on the party as reported, I hope that I would be able to negotiate ownership of the jet and the hotel in the price," he joked.

The weekend was organised by Andrew's pretty blonde wife to say thank you to all the pals who have worked with the legendary theatre producer over the years.

Disappointingly low on specifics, but the Daily Mail has pictures of Spice Girl Mel B and husband Stephen Belafonte jet-skiing in Miami. Unhelpfully, the Mail just refers to a "luxury holiday resort in Miami" and seems more interested in her range of bikinis. Anyone know which luxury resort?.

The entire Osbourne clan are enjoying a safari holiday in Australia and according to the 3am girls in today's Daily Mirror, son Jack is going to use the opportunity to introduce his folks to his on-off-on Australian girlfriend, April Pengilly.

Today's Sun reports that the Jackson 5 love Devon so much, they're planning to set up a holiday home in Barnstaple as a retreat from the stresses and strains of mega stardom.

That's the second UK mention this week; you may remember Bruce Willis was spotted in London a few days ago; looks like a good week for British Tourism .

Looks like Rhys Ifans and Sienna Miller are moving full steam ahead with their wedding plans.

According to the Daily Mail, Rhys and Sienna have decided to hire a private beach resort for a week on the island of Isla Mujeres, eight miles off the coast of Cancun, Mexico.

The website reports:

A source said: "This is the perfect location for Sienna to have her big day. This particular resort is literally in the middle of nowhere, so the only people to witness their wedding will be close friends and family.

"They fell in love with Mexico the first time they went there - so it makes sense for her to choose it as a location for her wedding."

According to today's Daily Mirror, Bruce Willis was spotted in London this weekend enjoying a pint of guinness in the Blue Posts, Mayfair with his girlfriend, Emma Heming.

Bruce, 52, was keen to chat to the locals about what a jolly time he was having on his hols here with 29-year-old girlfriend Emma Heming.

But his spokesman told us: "He was just over on holiday. He's not buying a house there at the moment."

Former Eastenders star Natalie Cassidy is holidaying in Portugal. Her visit is getting a lot of attention because of her dramatic downsize from a size 16 to a size 8. Not sure what type of holiday it could be when you have your personal trainer with you.

The Oz stars who have both appeared in Neighbours have just been away to Mauritius - staying at the £3,000 a night Shanti Ananda resort, according to news.com.

The Daily Mail has pictures of actress Drew Barrymore and current squeeze Justin Long celebrating her 33rd birthday on a Mexico Beach.

The mail says that "the pair are said to be staying at a back-to-basics $100-a-night beach resort, with simple thatched-roof huts without television or phones" but we don't recognise it. Do you?

Noel Gallagher is reportedly selling his holiday home in Ibiza because he can’t stand having James Blunt for a neighbour.

A source close to the Oasis star told the Sun: “Noel has been going to Ibiza every summer for years. But he wants to find a new holiday destination.”

“He’s fed up of hearing James Blunt bang on about Ibiza like he owns the place. It’s taken the charm out of it for him so he’s put his villa up for sale.”

“It’s very close to Blunt’s place, and he says he can’t stand the thought of Blunt writing crap tunes up the road.”
