Great news guys! We've just had an email update from Ben Fogle's team with regard to his recently contracted bug...
"Just to let you know that Ben is doing very well - he has been given the all-clear and doesn't have to have a further 6 weeks of treatment, which is great news! Will of course have to see how it goes re the South Pole race but so far so good."

Yay! Isn't that the best news!!. Fingers crossed for the South Pole race, although I think we'd all rather he took it easy for a while.

My wife informed me of Bens illness. I wasn't aware of his troubles,which we are both sorry to hear about.
Good to hear that he is recovering well, but a period of R&R would probably be a wise move.
Keep up the good work, but take it easy just now.

So pleased to hear Ben is on the mend, really good news, arden fan of his program Extreme Dreams, but maybe he should now take some time out to make a full recovery. Look after yourself Ben.

Saw you on Countryfile this a.m. - thought I would look up how you were doing, as read you had been very ill. Great to know you are back on track.
You always make us want to visit wherever you are, such an positive presenter, I watched you on the Scottish Isle programme many yrs ago, knew you would go onto do great things.
