Pity the poor holidaymaker headed for St Lucia's exclusive £200-a-night BodyHoliday at LeSport in St Lucia.
The resort, which promises guests "Give us your body for a week and we'll give you back your mind" has been home to Amy Winehouse since the New Year and, since her arrival, the raucous rocker has infuriated fellow guests and staff at the hotel with a catalogue of bad behaviour, which allegedly includes:
- Getting drunk and stoned daily
- Cavorting topless
- Assaulting a honeymooning bride she thought had "glared" at her
- Hijacking the piano from the professional player but being too drunk to play or sing
- Stealing drinks from guests after a booze-ban imposed by management and hotel staff
- Groping and insulting male staff
A source said: "Some staff have started singing their own version of Rehab under their breath when she's around. But they altered the chorus to sing, 'Just go, go, go'."
However, it's not all doom and gloom...
...Winehouse, 25, is reported to have rescued a holidaymaker who was thrown overboard by a 6ft wave. Louise Williams, 39 said "I was bowled over by her kindness. She went out of her way to help me."
And St Lucia officials are said to be delighted with the headlines generated by Ms Winehouse, delivering a basket of local produce and presents to the star's hotel room as a thank you for all the publicity.
Even Winehouse herself is reported to have said she feels better than she has in years after regular yoga and trapeze lessons; so much so, the singer has extended her break for another two months.
