Nicholas Sarkozy was resting in the south of France after fainting on a run last week. The French president holidayed with his model wife Carla Bruni and their sons in her family holiday house in Cap Negre.

It has been noted that Sarkozy is not the first middle aged man to have a liking for brightly coloured swimwear. Richard Branson and Jack Nicholson were also seen last week in somewhat questionable swimming trunks.
