Has Rhianna forgiven her ex Chris Brown? Just days after he released a public apology for assaulting her they both were staying in Trump Hotel and Towers in Manhattan.

They checked in separately last weekend and her reps insist that it was a coincidence but neither had any public engagements in the city. They both took considerable measures not to be seen leaving or entering the hotel including using decoy vehicles.

As part of his sentencing for pleading guilty to felony assault he was ordered to stay at least 50 yards away from Rhianna, if he is found to be violation of this he could risk blowing his plea bargain.

After beating rivals AC Milan 2-0, Chelsea's star players John Terry and Frank Lampard took some time out to cool off at their hotel in Pasadena. The team have been making the most of their time in the US by sampling the culture, including trips to L.A's hottest nightspots.

Rumors are swirling about Terry's possible transfer to Manchester City, but for now he looks like he is staying put.

Lampard, who scored the final goal in the match looked relaxed and ready for their next game on Sunday playing Club America in Texas.

Fred Durst, lead singer of rock band Limp Bizkit,  followed in the footsteps of many celebrities and had a quickie wedding in Las Vegas on Saturday.

He married long-time time girlfriend Ester Nazarov and afterwards enjoyed the Cirque de Soleil's show "O." The newlyweds were even treated to a backstage tour.

It was back to work the next day as Limp Bizkit continued with their performances at Las Vegas' Palm  Casino.

He wrote on twitter "Took me 38 years & was absolutely worth the wait. Every path has led me here. I'm hers, she's mine, 4eva"

Putting her divorce troubles behind her, Katie Price spent time in L.A on her third holiday since her public split from Peter Andre.

She was swarmed by paparazzi, but didn't seem to mind as she tucked into some frozen yogurt in Pinkberry.

Accompanied by her faithful make up artist, Gary Cockerill, she then popped into Kitson for some retail therapy.

Just spotted on the MediaMonkey blog: Derek Batey - he of Mr and Mrs fame - has a holiday home in Remington, Florida up for rent.

The four-bedroomed villa, which sleeps up to eight people, has different rates depending on the season.  They also offer special rates especially for weddings.  The only condition is that you 'be nice to each other'.

Well... George Clooney and Halle Berry have stayed at The Mondrian in Scottsdale which has rooms starting from $145.00 per night in the summer.

Beyonce and Jay Z honeymooned at the Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Resort  last year, and other stars such as Billy Crystal, Vince Vaughn and Aerosmith have also stayed.  Prices start from $189.00 per night in the summer 

Jamie Foxx, Diane Keaton and Sean Connery have all been spotted at Hotel Valley Ho ($149.00 per night), while Michael Douglas, Kevin Costner and Robin Williams favour the AAA five-diamond Fairmont Scottsdale (from $179.00 per night).

Lance Armstrong, Sheryl Crow and Willie Nelson have all stayed at The Boulders Resort & Golden Door Spa ($129 per night). 

But apparently the up and coming celebrity hotspot is the W Scottsdale Hotel & Residences which opened in September 2008 but has already hosted some very famous guests including James Caan and Fall Out Boy

The 25-year-old Girls Aloud singer and X-Factor judge is rumoured to be in talks with LA executives with regard to developing a career in the US.  She's also set to climb Mount Kilimanjaro with nine other celebs at the end of this month in aid of Comic Relief.

It's not entirely clear though why Cole was unable to push her own luggage out of Heathrow....

Looks like Naomi Campbell has finally met her match in Russian boyfriend Vladislav Doronin.

Campbell, 38 and property tycoon Doronin were sunning themselves on Miami Beach when Vladislav spotted a lone paparazzi taking photos of them. 

The ensuing photos of Vlad and the pap 'dancing' on the sands are hilarious!  But what's even funnier is the photo of Campbell seemingly egging her fella on... 

Britney Spears has been caught wearing a decidedly strange (and grubby) looking outfit at LAX airport (see below)

The 26-year-old singer is headed to Germany for the annual Bambi Entertainment Awards where she is due to receive an award for Best International Pop Star. 

Britney will then will be heading to London for this weekend's X-Factor.  So exciting!!!!

Officially opened by Victoria's Secret supermodel, Heidi Klum, other a-listers in attendance included Gwyneth Paltrow, Alex Rodriguez, John Stamos, Kate Hudson, Paris Hilton, Sean 'P Diddy' Combs, Mariah Carey, Chloe Sevigny, Alessandro Ambrosio, Debbie Harry, Noemie Lenoir and the models from Victoria's Secret, to name a few..

Sarah Palin didn't know Africa was a continent, says Fox News chief political correspondent Carl Cameron.

Huffington Post had this to say:

"According to Fox News Chief Political Correspondent Carl Cameron, there was great concern within the McCain campaign that Palin lacked "a degree of knowledgeability necessary to be a running mate, a vice president, a heartbeat away from the presidency," in part because she didn't know which countries were in NAFTA, and she "didn't understand that Africa was a continent, rather than a series, a country just in itself."

Maybe she needs to organise herself a holiday there pronto! She can take John McCain and they can ponder their humiliating defeat at the hands of Barack Obama!

Barack Obama, democratic senator and now the first black president of the United States spent the evening watching election returns at a Chicago hotel... but which one was it?

Sarah Palin is the subject of fresh controversy after it was reported the Alaskan Governor claimed over $32K in travel expenses for her three daughters to attend events and trips to which they had not been invited. 

Jessica Biel has been a very busy girl these last six weeks.

 

What with promoting her new film Easy Virtue in at film festivals in London and Rome, co-hosting the 'Last Chance for Change' Rally and Canvass Kickoff in support of Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama in Last Vegas with boyfriend Justin Timberlake (see picture above) AND taking a romantic Roman holiday with her aforementioned boyfriend, the poor girl has hardly had chance to pause for breath.

Biel is still in London after attending the premiere of Easy Virtue at the 52nd BFI London Film Festival and was spotted yesterday surrounded by photographers as she tried to leave fancy London eatery Nobu Berkeley

 

The controversial effigies of Sarah Palin and John McCain have finally been taken down by  Hollywood homeowner (and window display designer) Chad Morrisette.

 

Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin was depicted hanging from a noose off the side of his house while presidential candidate John McCain was sat atop the chimney surrounded by paper flames.

Amusingly, some republicans were so affronted by Chad's artwork they tried to block the display by holding up sheets. See picture below.  Bless.
