I'm off on a Black Sea cruise with Spirit of Adventure, the Saga brand for the over 21s (hence I am allowed on).
Hopefully I will be able to keep you posted about the ship, the Black Sea and other breaking news, but internet connections don't sound great so blogs might be a bit intermittent.

I am commenting on the "internet connection" bit.
I have been hearing, from a number of sources, that because the internet connections on ships vary from "fairly slow" to "non-existent", a number of people are forgoing cruising in favour of land based holidays.
You know the type: the businessman with his Blackberry clamped to his right hand who now has to stay in touch with his office 24 hours a day.
This will be an interesting problem that the cruise lines will just have to overcome, as more and more business people will need to stay in contact with their business 24/7.
