Hayes and Jarvis has added seven new faces to its product and marketing line up. 

hannah_wood web.jpgHannah Wood (pictured above) has joined the product and contracts team covering Kenya and Africa after two years working part time in reservations for TUI Travel whilst studying for a degree.

Suzanne Owen web.jpgSuzanne Owen (pictured above) has taken over from Louise Adams as brand manager for Hayes and Jarvis and is responsible for planning and managing the company's advertising and marketing campaigns. She has previously worked for Citalia and Sovereign Luxury Travel.

Jenny Anderson web.jpgJenny Anderson is the brand's new marketing executive.  She has worked as a consultant for TRI Hospitality Consulting.

Verity Wilkinson has joined as regional product and contracts manager for the USA and Canada. She was most recently sales and marketing manager for the UK representation company, AMG. 

Suzanne Harvey is the new product and contracts manager for Florida. Most recently she spent two years at Sandals and Beaches Resorts as market development manager. 

Juliet Darlington is now responsible for planning and managing the Sri Lanka, India and Seychelles programme as product and contracts manager. She has worked at Titan Travel and Thomas Cook.

Amy Wojdygowski works alongside Darlington as product and contracts executive for the Indian Ocean and the Middle East. 

Matt Cheevers has joined travel marketing communications agency Elmscott as non-executive director, where he will assist with the development of the company while also focusing on product strategy. He has previously worked for Eurostar and lastminute.com, before joining Teletext Holidays as managing director. In 2009 he established Smooth Direction Ltd, offering strategic business development and network services.
Robin Sutherland.jpgRobin Sutherland has joined travelsupermarket.com as general manager. His key responsibilities will be to drive the travelsupermarket.com strategy, business growth and profitability. Sutherland joins the comparison site from travel activities retailer, Isango, where he held the position of retail vice president.

 

Pill, Kate web.jpgKate Pill has been appointed sales development manager for the northeast for Gold Medal. She joins with experience from across the industry including MyTravel, Libra Holidays and GoRedSea.com, where she worked in various roles. She will be responsible for supporting agents, developing sales, and seeking new business opportunities.

 

Gilbert, Chris web.jpgBeachcomber Tours has appointed Chris Gilbert as its new managing director. He replaces Mike Edwards, who has decided to step down from this position, whilst remaining as a director and becoming more involved on the strategic issues for the company. Gilbert was most recently at Beachcomber Hotels and has previously worked for companies including Thomas Cook and Ian Allan Travel.

Steve O'Loughlin has been appointed as head of sales for W&O Travel (the rebranded Western and Oriental Travel). Sarah Mason also joins as head of marketing. Both join from Club Med, where O'Loughlin was head of sales and Mason was head of marketing.
Hare, Mike web.jpgThe Guild of Travel Management Companies has announced Portman Travel chief executive Mike Hare (above) is to replace Maurice Veronique as chairman. Andrew Waller, UK executive vice-president, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, becomes deputy chairman and Adam White, managing director of Bath Travel's business travel division, becomes treasurer.
Rocky Mountaineer, operator of Western Canada's rail journeys, has appointed of Philip Ordever as Europe sales director. The newly created position was developed to further expand Rocky Mountaineer's international reach, while maintaining business from the UK, one of the companies top producing markets. Ordever was most recently vice president, sales and marketing - Europe, Middle East and Africa for Crystal Cruises, but he has previously also worked for Silversea and First Choice.
Chambers Travel Management has announced that Malcolm Russell has joined the company as sales manager. Russell has more than 12 years of sales business development and will join the 13-strong sales and business management team in the company's City of London head office.

 

Cowley, Paul web.jpgAllbury Travel Group has announced the appointment of Paul Cowley as sales and marketing director. Cowley was previously general manager at Midconsort Elite Travel Group, sales and marketing director at transfer specialist Resorthoppa before setting up and becoming managing director at the wedding specialist, Travel Integrity and online travel retailer, want2go2.com.
