The opening of the new 88-room Hampton by Hilton in Corby/Kettering in March was the first of 25 of Hilton's budget-branded hotels due to open in the UK over the next few years.
The American hotel giant hopes it will become "the hot new brand of choice for travellers today."
With free hot breakfast and a money back if you're not satisifed guarantee, could it steal Premier Inn and Travelodge's back-to-basics crowns? Or will it do a Denizen and end up a dead'un? (Lame I know but nothing rhymes with Denizen!?)

Looks like quite a smart budget hotel. It probably has a long way to go before it's really a rival to Premier Inn though. Nice to see former TW editor Jeremy Skidmore doing a spot of presenting!
